About Olton CO-OP Gin

Olton CO-OP Gin, located northeast of Olton on Highway 70, is a progressive cotton gin with state-of-the-art equipment. Established in 1944, Olton CO-OP Gin has a history of aggressively seeking and offering the latest in ginning technology to better serve its stockholders.

Superior ginning equipment, along with a high ginning capacity, have made Olton CO-OP Gin one of the top producing gins in the state of Texas. A $3-4 million upgrade in 1997, has enabled Olton CO-OP to gin 80 bales per hour and more than 1,500 bales or 150 modules per day. Today, Olton CO-OP is owned by about 200 stockholders (its growers) and staffed by experienced gin superintendents, as well as dedicated office personnel, and served by committed board members.
